Fall is the season for change, transition. What better time to start thinking about what you want MORE OF in 2025?

One of the most effective ways that I know of is to establish your vision. But to be honest, establishing a vision is easier said than done!

Here are 3 simple steps to start planting seeds now, for more of what you want.

(1) Reflection

Take a moment to think back on this past year.

  • What are you most proud of?

  • What are some of the challenges that you faced?

  • What did you learn in the process?

Taking even as little as 5-10 minutes to sit down and reflect on this things will give you an incredible amount of insight. I don't know about you, but I am often guilty of moving forward at 100 mph, no looking back. And while I am definitely a fan of focusing on the path ahead, there is value in pausing to reflect on where you have come from, and what you learned along the way. It's also a great opportunity to celebrate some wins!

(2) Gratitude

November is gratitude month! What better time to take the opportunity to consider some of the things you are already grateful for?! I love the quote by Zig Ziglar - "The more grateful you are for what you already have, the more good things you will attract to be grateful about" .

Studies show there is a lot of truth to this statement. So I challenge you - write down 3-5 things in your life you are ALREADY grateful for. Then NOTICE the feeling you get as you reflect on them. This is an important element for planting seeds for what you want.

(3) Envision the outcome

I always ask my yogis to set their intention as we begin our yoga practice. What is the energy you want to embody? How do you want to show up on your mat, and what do you want to carry with you off the mat? THEN, imagine that it is already true. For example, if you set an intention for "Peace", set your an intention in a way that declares it. "I am peace." Setting a vision is an evolution of setting an intention. Once you understand what you want more of, envision yourself already experiencing that thing. Take the lessons or insights from step (1), combined with the feeling of gratitude from step (2) and vividly picture yourself already achieving the thing that you want more. Once you can hold this image in your mind's eye, and feel the energy of making it a reality, you are setting positive forces in motion to help you move closer and closer to it.

Ask yourself - "what is one small action today, that I can take, to guide myself forward?"

Did this exercise resonate? We are bringing these steps and MORE to life on December 7. Join me for:

Namaste…
